Purchases take place through Etsy

The GymQuest website introduces products and helps you decide which adventure or resource may suit you. When you choose to purchase an available paid product, you will be taken to its listing on Etsy.

The purchase is completed through Etsy, not through this website. Etsy processes the payment and provides the applicable seller information, checkout terms and customer protections. The current price, currency, availability and any taxes shown by Etsy at the time of purchase apply to that transaction.

The GymQuest website does not operate a basket or checkout, store payment-card details, issue Etsy receipts or control the availability of Etsy’s services.

Digital delivery

Products currently offered through Etsy are digital products unless the Etsy listing clearly states otherwise. The relevant Etsy listing explains the format and contents supplied. Etsy provides access to purchased files through its own order and download process.

If there is a problem with an order, payment or download, use Etsy’s order-support process first so the enquiry remains connected to the transaction. You may also contact GymQuest for product-specific help.

Cancellations, refunds and faulty files

The cancellation, refund and customer-protection information presented by Etsy during the transaction applies to Etsy purchases, together with any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing on this website replaces those terms or reduces your statutory rights.

If a purchased file is missing, damaged, materially different from its description or cannot be accessed, contact GymQuest through the relevant Etsy order so the issue can be investigated.

Free prologue

Prologue: The Road to Greymere is currently requested through a MailerLite subscription page. No payment is taken. The MailerLite page explains what you will receive and requests any consent needed for additional email communication.

Future physical products

GymQuest does not currently sell physical products through this website. Delivery, cancellation and returns information will be updated before physical products are introduced.

Who is responsible for information

GymQuest is responsible for personal information it handles directly. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to hello@gymquestrpg.com.

Etsy and MailerLite also process information under their own privacy notices when you use their services. Their websites, forms and transaction systems are outside the GymQuest website.

Information GymQuest may receive

• Your name, email address and the contents of messages you send to GymQuest.
• Subscription information and consent records supplied through MailerLite.
• Order and support information made available through Etsy when you buy a GymQuest product or ask about an Etsy order.
• Basic technical and security information recorded by the website host, such as IP address, browser type, requested page and access time.

Do not send medical records or other sensitive health information by email. GymQuest does not provide personalised medical advice through this website.

How information is used

Information may be used to reply to enquiries, provide product support, deliver communications you requested, manage consent and unsubscribes, assist with Etsy orders, protect the website, meet legal obligations and protect legal rights.

GymQuest will not add Etsy customers to marketing emails merely because they made a purchase. Marketing emails will be sent only where the appropriate permission or another lawful basis exists, and each marketing email will provide an unsubscribe route.

Sharing, transfers and retention

Information is not sold. It may be processed by services needed to operate GymQuest, currently including Etsy, MailerLite, the website host and email provider, or disclosed where required by law.

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where GymQuest controls that choice, it will use providers and transfer arrangements intended to provide appropriate protection.

Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for customer support, consent records, security, accounting and legal requirements.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, transfer or objection. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it for future use. Contact GymQuest by email to make a request.

You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and similar technology

The intended launch configuration does not use advertising cookies or non-essential analytics cookies. The hosting provider may process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the website.

If non-essential analytics or advertising technology is introduced later, it must remain disabled until visitors receive clear information and any required consent has been obtained. Etsy and MailerLite use their own cookie controls.

Using this website

The GymQuest website is provided to explain GymQuest, Ironbound and the available training adventures and resources. You may browse it for personal, lawful and non-commercial purposes.

You must not attempt to damage, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the website, misuse its contact routes, or reproduce substantial parts of it as your own service.

Ownership and permitted use

Unless otherwise stated, the GymQuest name, Ironbound setting, written material, programme concepts, artwork presentation and website content belong to GymQuest or are used with permission. Viewing the website does not transfer ownership of that material.

Website content may not be copied, republished, sold, distributed or commercially exploited without permission, except where the law expressly allows it. Any licence applying to a purchased product is provided with that product or through its Etsy listing.

Information and availability

GymQuest aims to keep product descriptions and website information accurate. Products, external listings, links and website features may be changed, corrected, withdrawn or temporarily unavailable. The current information shown on Etsy governs an Etsy transaction.

The website may link to Etsy, MailerLite and other external services. GymQuest does not control their availability, security, accessibility or independent terms.

Training information

GymQuest programmes are intended for general fitness and educational purposes. They are not personalised medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Read the readiness and safety information on the product page and in the FAQ before beginning a programme.

Customers under 18 should involve a parent or guardian in the purchase and in deciding whether the training is appropriate, particularly where gym equipment or unsupervised exercise is involved.

Responsibility, changes and contact

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits statutory consumer rights or any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded. These terms describe reasonable use of the website and do not replace the terms governing an Etsy purchase.

Commitment

GymQuest wants the website to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible. The implementation target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

The website supports keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, browser zoom, text resizing, readable colour contrast, reduced-motion preferences, useful headings, descriptive links and meaningful text alternatives for important images.

Product artwork and previews

Some official covers and sample pages contain text within images. Important product information is also provided as ordinary webpage text so that understanding a product does not depend solely on reading an image.

External services

Etsy and MailerLite are separate services and GymQuest cannot control every aspect of their accessibility. If an external route prevents you from obtaining product information or contacting GymQuest, email hello@gymquestrpg.com and describe the assistance you need.

Reporting a problem

If you encounter an accessibility problem, include the page or product involved, what you were trying to do and, if you are comfortable providing it, the browser or assistive technology being used. Do not include sensitive medical information.

GymQuest will consider reasonable ways to provide the same information or support in another accessible format.
